With my saddle LIPOs going off I've got to get some replacement LIPOs.

Now as I plan to be racing the RB6 more and more wondering what people's thoughts are on the stubby layout in mid config with the standard chassis etc?

Thought I noticed a few of the RB6 cars at Silverstone club running this option.

No in the middle. Not like Hara's

I'm running mine with shorty in the middle and the car is great.

Overall weight around 1500g, a bit light so I use a big RSX servo and ghea aluminum front block.
Might need some weight under the lipo, 30 to 80g but the car is awesome.
Found the RB6 a bit lazy hence my shorty choice, now I need a bit of weight
to make it safer.

The last setup from Kev Lee is also quite agressive and quite fast, I really enjoyed the car yesterday.

Flat wishbones from RB5 for me.

I've only ran my RB6 twice and only with shorty down the middle with 74g under the battery. First run on skippy floor I did struggle with rear end grip. Ran same set up on high grip yesterday and it was great.

Was lapping every bit as quick as my 4wd. Can't wait to get this car outdoors.

With the Hara lay out the weight distribution is 35.5 FR & 64.5 R.
Total weight is 1595gr.

Very nimble car with predictable sharp steering AND a locked rear end.

Guys can the shorty be used and fitted directly in the car from new or do I need anything else to make it fit.

Cheers

Rudebits tray secures the lipo in a bit better when combined with RB5 battery posts.
