Not a total success at the moment this racing outdoors, any chance of some more indoor days / nights until the weather improves?

Anybody else feeling some more indoor action if its a possibility?

I'm in full agreement here. The club must be losing some serious revenue due to the poor turnout over the last few weeks. The rain has put a stop to at least half of race days/evenings so far.

No chance of anymore indoors im afraid.

As far as loosing revenue, the costs of running indoors are so much higher that even if we only run once a month outdoors due to weather we would still get more money for the club.

Because the hall just cant be booked week to week. We block book for winter and always run outside in summer.

Plus theres no carpet till the new winter series!

If you want to organise it all and run it then cool

It was only an inquiry ... geeze ....;)

that's a little unfair, don't think dan came over too strong?

if there is enough interest AND someone is willing to organize and run it.
then something could possibly be sorted.
it would have to pay for itself and the leisure centre shuts earlier in the summer, so they would have to be willing to stay open

(well volunteered ;))

if you are serious come and have a chat on a fri

cheers andy

No carpet may be an issue ... Appologies if it was taken the wrong way, I read it as sarcasm (a PM suggesting it may be doable if others were prepared to help out etc may have been better, smiley or no smiley) ... I was only voicing the fealings of a few other racers that are dissapointed with not being able to race due to the weather and being outside ... I remember having a conversation about the number drop off when the indoor season finished whilst we were still indoors and the racing went outside, may this is the reason why ... I know the weather is not down to the club of course, I would be happy to get involved in helping if the interest were there for another couple of weekend tournaments.

Dont want to upset anybody, but I presumed that any positive interest in the racing and the club was better than none.
