hi all this is not to put a bad post about the bmax2 more of so I no what parts I might possible need had my car 3 maybe 4 months now run it every Friday and Sunday in and out side love it such a good car but my idler gear destroyed its self last night which stopped me from racing and I have had two wheels come loose and destroy the pin slots in the wheel more my fault though for not checking wheel nuts so any one else broke anything ?

I have not broke a thing on bmax2 or bmax4 at all n I've been racing them most of the year so far. Strangely enough I've had wheel nuts come loose at the 2 meets :eh?:

So far one rear hub carrier after a stupid jump and one front hub carrier and shock tower after hitting a tree on our track for the n-th time. Not bad for more than one year of (ab-)use, tough car!
As I am switching back to 17.5 turn for the time being, I expect to experience even less damage. ;)

Not broken anything yet on 2wd as of yet. As for the 4wd, I can't remember the last time I broke a thing.

Really strong, well built cars.

I've not broke anything yet despite some big hits. I also have had a couple of wheel nuts come loose so I have just bought some serrated wheel nuts. I really hope that the yok prototype that is mentioned on another thread is a new 4wd as I am in the market for a new 4wd.

I've not broken anything and replace the rear wheel nuts with Durango serrated ones and had no issues since

Serrated nuts for the rear wheels for sure.

I've seen a couple of idler gear failures on others. I checked mine last week and there was a little bit of idler coloured dust in the gearbox. Looking very carefully at one of the idlers I could see the profile of the teeth wasn't quite perfect (gone slightly hook shaped) so swaped the idlers for new.

With the aid of a little PTFE grease, my idler gear is as good as new after a year. ;)

Done an idler yesterday in leg 2 of my A final. I've noticed a few people doing idlers. Anyone know if there is an upgraded idler available?

After 5 months of hard weekly racing I finally broke something :0
After a harsh landing going over a huge table top a rear hinge pin snapped. The wishbone and hub were still in one peice tho.

I 've done an idler too, and i somehow managed to bend the front c-hubs. They (only the left actually) didn't break they just bent letting the king pin out. Just replaced both of them to be sure.

3 meetings without a scratch.
Then snap goes the chassis at the back.
Hopefully the new one should be out soon

Ok i found out why this happened. It's the clear washers. They break easily on harsh landings. I found both my front clear washers (under the spindle) ready to break after my last meeting. One actually broke in my hands when i removed it.
Need to find something more reliable.

Finally broke something on the car.....gear diff gears. Are the alloy versions available yet?

So far I have broken front chassis top and bottom and a shock cap. Hitting a bench at the end of the straight at DMS full speed.

Not bad so far

All the parts shown at Shizuoka are scheduled for June, mibosport says late June iirc.
