...off to the track now to do final prep with the other members. Weather still looks good for tomorrow so it should be a good day. Make sure you get there early as we have a BIG entry.
Hot food will be available.

Dry as a bone all day. We were there from 10am to 5pm building the track and getting it all sorted for tomorrow. Should be a good day.

I hope everyone had a good day. Well done to Ashley for making his first Regional A final. Well done also to club member Zac for winning his final.

Well done to the club for a well run meeting, my only criticism is that when you lay the track please walk up and down the whole rostrum to check that there are no blind spots, as the 2 corners by point 5 were completly bocked when stood either side of the middle post.

Thanks for the feedback on the blind spots. We were aware of them going into the meeting. One problem with our track is the pole, but we need it for illumination so we can race until 10pm. We do try to just have reasonably straight track behind the pole to avoid people loosing their cars for more than a split second but a regional event means we need greater complexity to the track to get the lap times up a bit. This does unfortunately often lead to a couple of blind spots which we hope people can work with by avoiding those areas on the rostrum. I appreciate this is more difficult in the finals when you have ten drivers. I hope it did not spoil your day too much.

Great days racing and the track was great. I appreciate Neil didn't want to congratulate himself but well done on winning your final. I tried my best but just couldn't catch you in the final.
