Hi all

I am a newb (after a 20+year break) with a dex 210 RTR and I have been trawling through the various pages on here trying to pick a battery for my car.

I will be racing primarily indoor with some outdoor and money isn't so much of an issue to get the right gear, but I don't want to re mortgage my house either!

Saddles seem popular but why would you choose saddles over a shorty or stick? And who are the popular brands. Also what mah and c should I be looking at.

Also can you recommend a charger please.

Thanks all!

Main benefit with saddles is you can use em in anything.
Some cars won't take sticks or shorties.

Beyond that it's up to you really, I've used all three options in my 210. Settled on shorties. I can play around with weight distribution quite easily.

Thank you.

And what shorty do you run may I ask?

I have a couple of the nano-tech hobbyking.com batteries.
Not sure if they are legal for you to race or not. (They are ROAR approved hard cases. So I can use them here, not sure what their BRCA status is)

buy saddles buy something that's BRCA legal, saddles will fit were a stick will but stick wont go were saddles will, as for make there's not much between any packs really just buy were you can get them locally, so you have a point of sale for problems if you have any, just remember the bigger the c rating IE 60c will be slower and less punch than 100c, and the 60c will make the car easer to drive,
