A mate of Harry's fancies having a go with Harry's LRP Blast. He is a total novice, so any chance of running him in a nice quiet heat, ideally with folks not averse to dodging a mobile chicane? I suspect he'll pick it up pretty quickly as they all do a that age... must be nice! :bored:

If so, Max Burlace - 4WD please.

Not a problem, it's where we all started. It may be an idea if someone can stand on the rostrum with him for the first round to explain how things work :)

I dont suppose anyone has a spare transponder we can use for the evening?

No worries if not, I'd just rather not rip the one out of my TC02C as that means I cant race either - assuming I can manage that whilst pitting for two over excited 9 year olds!

Thanks for accommodating Max on Fri chaps ... and for the patience of those in his races.

I actually thought he did amazingly well given he had never driven anything other than a toy R/C car before, so had zero practice. Plus he was running a 21T brushed motor that Harry has thrashed the living daylights geared for rock crawler tyres which therefore runs like a snail.

I had fun too, given that I haven't raced for over 20 years!
