Hi,
I have this aftermarket "Body Extension Kit" on my Turbo Optima Mid, but I can not remember who made it. Anyone out there with a better memory than me?

Here's a pic

And here's the instruction leaflet that came with it:

Anyone?

It was made by TMS, still got one NIP somewhere...

Thanks Terry,
I knew that somebody here would remember ;-)

They rocked!!
Made the car SO much better - more balanced and better over bumps (it WAS a bit short to start with)
I prefered the TMS conversion to the actual LWB mid.

Anyone want to sell one to prep my short one for the vintage series this winter?

Balance was ace last year but appauling over bumps/jumps, really appauling!

How did the original mid lwb achieve the longer wheelbase? Did it have a longer belt?

The original SWB Mid had the narrow alloy chassis and just enough space for stick pack batteries. The LWB Mid had a longer chassis, top deck and belt to move the gearboxes apart, with enough space to fit saddle pack batteries in the chassis.
