Hey guys. I need a new shell for my DEX210 but cant decide on a cab forward or regular design. I like the way my car handles and dont really want to change it. But only cab forwards seem to be instock. What is anything going to change with a cab forward, if anything? Thanks

Rc penguin has ones that are a variation of a cab forward and the stock shell

I wouldn't worry too much about the style of cab changing the handling too much .. most peeps use them to gain a little more front end but the last time we tried one in a wind tunnel it gave more rear :woot:

I find a cab forward shell actually improves your driving as your focussed on the front of the car so can get it pointing where you want it better. but that's just my thoughts

It'll change the handling, not necessarily mess it up!
Can you not borrow one from someone to try out for a dozen laps?

It won't really mess up your handling. It will just feel different to drive as the visual part of the cab is at the front rather than the back which isn't a bad thing really. People think they give more front downforce, but after testing them through our wind tunnel at Phat Bodies... they don't. They give more rear downforce if anything.
I only run the JC cab forward on my 210 I find it makes more stable

I don't know what happens with the handling but in my eyes the cab forward makes every car ugly..........:D

I went from a finisher to the durango +8mm cab forward with my +8mm alloy chassis, and the differance is noticable. I no longer run my super nice body because of this. Between the 2, the +8mm body has the cab close to 1" further forward (I guess 20-25mm for you metric people) and it simply drives better, I'd say more off power steering if anything
