I'll be changing from a DEX210 next month right in the middle of our Regional series. Dumbass move I know but what are people's thoughts on the buggy good and bad please.

They look very good on track but I've not had a drive of one yet.

You can make any buggy look good you lad !!!

They are very easy to drive you just need to find a good set up for your track
most run close to kit setup with 27.5 wt in the rear and 35wt in the front and middle middle hole rear camber link with no spacers and middle hole rear shock and middle hole rear arms. A lot of drivers are running with no weight and some are adding weight extra weight.

I had a 210 for most of 2012, bmax wee's all over it in every department in my opinion!!
Lowest maintance in a car ive ever had.
Strongest and well built parts.
Well balanced, and drives like a dream straight out of the box.
Very little need for additional parts, just a bit of weight and some springs.
Recommended this car to others who have bought one, and they love it!

are there any essential out the box, hop ups or upgrades needed with the car?

like with the 210. alloy shock bottoms, different slipper pads, ceramic diff balls, alloy hexes and alloy shock collars are all things that are needed out the box to improve the car along with different springs.

springs for the yok have already been mentioned but are any of those other things needed? or are they all included?

Bmax 2 has the highest quality parts already on the car.
210 diff and slipper pads are shocking, my bmax ones are untouched and going strong after 5 meeting. There are small upgrades but really arn't needed. I use Losi BB springs, they go straight on, no need for other collars or cups. I run them cause they are more accessable, and also AE BB springs fit. I also bought rudebits lipo tray and the cream bulkhead weight, which seems to calm the car down in high grip.
Other than that, its completely kit, and i dont intend to buy anything else for it, just race it. Thats the beauty of this car.


One upgrade i will be getting when its released is the new chassis, purely for strength, as the plastic one can snap at the back.

Not a thing needed upgrade wise apart from using Associated or Losi springs as there is more choice and they are a direct fit. the kit set up works great too and build quality is top notch. Myself and my son have been running the car for a few months now and not had a single breakage and no signs of wear to diff outdrives or driveshafts.

Associated springs for me, as they have a good range and they fit better than Losi one's. I will be getting an ally chassis on release, as I prefer a more rigid chassis set up.

Tungsten balls come with the diff and they are ultra smooth, just tighten the diff up and let them bed in. My MR diff hasn't been rebuilt all year and its still ultra smooth. Last year I put ceramic balls in my old B-Max2, ran them a little looser but not slipping and they lasted two meeting before needing a rebuild, went back to the old tungsten balls and they are still in there:thumbsup:

Can someone measure the overall length of the chassis, and then the width as it steps up to the widest point?

I have the new Venom V2MR buggy which has some similarities. I want to know if the yoke finisher body from Jco would fit, and no one local has a yoke for comparison.
