Nothing wrong with them - just a bit ugly with the bodyshell on, they're well made & great to drive.

A lot of people change cars regularly. Could be the 6 month itch setting in:lol:

In my opinion, the K1 is the best handling car and most durable car out there. I've never broken anything on the K1 in 6 months of running it.
It has been the most reliable car I've had, and I have achieved my best results in a short period with the car (going from 53rd best, to 26 in round at 2 nationals). This is having tried Tamiya, Durango and Kyosho.
I think Chesty is right, some people like to have a change every 6 months.

I sold mine as I was tired of breaking things on it (spurs, shock towers, gearbox tops, shock shafts). I agree is a nice handling car but since switching to the bmax4 in Jan/feb ive not broke a single thing and like the fact it comes with everything i.e. roll bars, titanium turnbuckles, alloy rear hubs, 2 different chassis, 2 top decks etc so there is no need for hop ups to strengthen or to buy extra parts to get it setup right.

Antony, how do you find the Bmax as a direct comparison to drive, out of interest?

I know the track will obviously make a difference, but does it have a decent window for an "easy"drive?

The K1 looks great, but so does the Bmax. (And XB4, B44.2, Dex410!)

My experience is that the k1 feels a bit lighter and "free". Possibly a bit more nimble. The bmax feels planted, and with more grip and traction which lets me drive a bit harder with less mistakes. I find it easy to get it right and to make changes for the better if required, however with the k1 I was always chasing setup which I struggled to achieve. The bmax definitely helps me be more consistent and is yet to break at all. (Tempting fate here) :p

Many thanks Antony, great feedback and really useful.

I think I probably need more planted, as I'm a driver in need of more practice, and the K1 sounds like it needs someone more capable!

my one friend used to have this RC car. it's really easy to handle and drive. I have a 2WD RC car and soon going to go for a 4WD . I am sure this K1 will be my first 4WD RC car.
