Has anybody else ever measured the weight split front to rear on their cars? ( I'm interested in values for 2wd).

My standard bk2 has approx 520g on the front wheels and 1040g on the rear wheels.

This is with nimh / no weight in front etc.

I know a lot of people weigh the front down. But what is the optimum weight split for 2wd?

Would be very interested in any numbers for an x6 or S2, or from anybody much faster than me round the track. (probably most people.)

My diy project car is 90% complete, but need to figure out where to put approx 200g ballast!

Howdy
it always gets quite when it gets to numbers......funny isn't it?
All i can tell you, that an ordinary 501 is about 45/55 f/r.
an old cat 3000 was 41/59, an Lazer ZX-5 is about 47.5/52.5.
for an 2WD car i would suggest something between 30/70 and 40/60, as the big cars i work with are all around that ratio. (btw, they have the engine in the back....you know them...also the rwd Paris Dakar Cars where in that area.)
