Wow! If true! Makes sense, AE and Yokomo have always been close!

Ball bags! More money to spend.
(Would prefer a Works tho)

Luckily I have a nib Losi RPS version - and for sure, that can never be replicated
Looks good tho - if they are as MAD as the runner I have then a Yokomo unmodified 4WD class might be run alongside the rc10 class at next years oOple events  21t blinky is plenty for these amazingly crap handling cars. My runner has lots of options along with dual rear shocks - and it did had dual front delta shocks - but wow, with a 14t brushed motor is was uncontrollable

I won one of my Scottish Champs driving one of these. Truly dreadful thing that I ran 2WD most of the time!

Shocking to see it back. EEEEK!

They say they are doing some improvements (like steering rack among others) and that they will say more in the next issue.
I can read japanese :p

I love all the old Yokomo products.... but the the 834b is the exception in that I really have no interest in them.. would be much more excited if they re-released the 870c or a Works model:(

Having built and owned an 834b I can certainly tell you they are not quite as robust as most of us would like. They are of a very early design and not everyone's cup of tea. Saying this though, holding a nice one in your hands is a whole other deal. I had been building mine up to do a little (very light) vintage racing with. Sadly times got tough with my wife having babies and us being down an income so I had to sell it to pay bills.
Damn I miss that car now!

Hmmm...I can feel a little of what your feeling there Jason.

What a nice build, even down to the electrics.

I've seen the RPS on youtube..looked like it handled well?

*faints*

*gets up and faints again*

Wow, just wow. Been desperately trying to buy one of these for years, seen they go NIB on ebay for ridiculous money, last one i watched ended up around $900 USD.

I'll buy one of these in a heartbeat. This car was just full of "firsts" for the RC industry, a true pioneering piece of RC history.

I want one, now :D

Personally, if the price tag where somewhere between $50 to $80 bucks, which will not be, MAYBE I would buy one of those buggies. On the other hand if Yokomo would re-release the 870 that's another story for me. Just my opinion, sorry if I dont share the same feelings for this buggy.

Have to agree with Optiman. 870c I would be all in. To my mind anyway, they've re-released the wrong one.
