Does anyone know a 10th car that uses hockey stick rod ends a bit like this (don't have to be as extreme as this!)???

Hi,
What about the Jconepts ball cups?

Or the Yokomo one?

I need some like the Yoke style on there to give more clearance to the turnbuckle by using one at both ends :) Are they easy to get? What size ball do they use?
Any others?

May not be open ended like the Yoke ones, but the front Schumacher ones for the SV/2 may be of use?

To answer the question of the Yoke parts, MB models stock them:

Nope Paul, need to bend the other way ;)
Don't have to be open ended either.
Any other thoughts anyone?

I only need 4 of the hockey stick ones, so £14 seems a bit savage! :woot:
What size balls do they fit onto though?

I've got some J concept ones you can have. Standard AE b4 ball size. They were for the BJ4 I think? no use for my B4, but come in the packet with the others.

I'm at batley regional this sunday and can pass them on if you aren't there yourself. I've chucked them in my toolbox, or pm if you want them posted.
I can measure the yok ball size, i think its about 3.8mm by measuring the plastic ball cup. The yoke ones come as part of a set rod end set: http://www.rccarshop.co.uk/index.php/spares/yokomo/b-max2/bm-206-rod-end-plastic-parts.html
but you only get two of those type in that set, so will get expensive if you need more than two.

Thanks for the offer Neal but those ones don't move the turnbuckle back if you see what I mean, the Yokomo ones do.
I agree - buying 4 Yokomo ones is going to get expensive, not so much of a problem if they fit the "standard" ball size though and I can use the rest of them on my cars without having to buy a load of new balls.
Where are they used on a Yoke? Are they actually used or might people have them sat in their pit boxes un-used?

No probs. They are use on the rear top link, hub end, with the kit plastic hubs. If someone has upgraded to the ali hubs, they are no longer needed. Just working now (yeah really i am) I'll unscrew and measure a yok ball later for you.

As I've measured tonight:
Yok ball = 4.28mm/0.1685"
B4.1 ball = 4.32mm/0.170"

GDEX210. Rear camber link.
Edit, can that, they don't offset the turnbuckle either.

Not sure if they go the right way though.
