Decided to give 1/10 off road a go as cant always race nitro on Sundays as work tends to get in the way, so just bought myself a cheap b4 but need recommendations for a motor and esc but don't want to be spending a fortune.

You could try one of these, you do need to get one of the program boxes which can be a bit hit or miss as to if they are in stock but I've just put one in my H2 and it's awesome.

Also depending on if you want to do club or brca events you could try one of their motors too.

You can get the speedo, motor and program box for around £60.

Just ordered this ESC and motor for a DEX210 I have on the way, is this the actual motor you're running? Are you pleased with it?

I run a 5400kv sensorless in a Kyosho Lazer ZX-5 so I figured with the turbo function on the ESC 5135kv would be more than adequate for 2wd.

Just had the same combo as this delivered along with the program box, it all looks OK except there don't seem to be any instruction or setup manuals included, did you get any manuals with yours?
