Just after some advice. My receiver wire is completely frayed about half way up the wire. I have another receiver that doesn't work but the wire is perfect. Sorry for basic question but can I repair by cutting good wire from other receiver and putting onto the working receiver

what reciever model and make is it.
i had a ko and sanwa 2.4 handsets and you cannot just attach a bit of extra wire you need to replace the wire completely. The wire had a small clip that connects to the main board no soldering required. Older handsets you could have soldered in a new wire , depends what u have.

Hi
It's a etronix pulse 3-ch 2.4ghz. I have opened up and can see that the wires is soldered into the board so I am guessing I could take old one out and solder new one in?
Thanks for ur help

Went to put the wire into the aerial and as I thought may happen, the wire snapped half way. I moved the receiver nearer the aerial part and run the wire half way up the aerial. Sorry for a basic question but when I try the car, it is great within about 10 metres distance, any further and I lose total control. I.e. I would make it fully around track.
Is there anything specific at the end of the wire to give signal. I have tried taking shell off and plastic aerial so just wire in car and get the same problem.
Help, been trying to get this sorted all day.....
