Hi, am looking for a 4wd car, seen 2 preds the x10 and xrs- cannot see the difference and the link does not open. What is difference. How much were they/are they new? Which bits break?

Although the X10 and XRS look the same, they are completely different. The X10 is a better buggy using alloy steering braces and front shock linkages (as opposed to plastic on the XRS) amongst other things. I belive the X10 chassis is also lighter than the XRS?
The XRS was about 220 and the X10 around 399ish i think??.
Both my XRS and X10, although fun to drive and very quick, seemed fragile and suffered from a number of reliability issues on a regular basis. (some of the fragility was my fault due to crashes)
Now, the new X11, thats the car to have of the pred range. Its a much better design than the others and it's alot stronger.
One of the guys i race with has the new X11 and it doesn't have the same reliability issues that mine used to, it also seems to drive alot better and handle the bumps and jumps better.

Well I race a x10 which I have crashed and haven't had any problems with it so far. I have only raced it 1, and will be going to the x11 after the winter season at eden park. Will get the x11 for the southeast regionals

Yes mate the green x10 at eden park is mine.
Well you can only buy what you can only afford, I would hold out for the x11 but the x10 is still a good car. There is a x10 on ebay

Wicked ! you were going well with the x10:thumbsup:. was it your 1st meet? My good lady fell in love with the paintwork on your car.
I ran my X10 there at the start of the season, and it also ran well !

It was the first race for 7 years, can't wait for the winter season to kick off on the 05/10/08. Thinking about putting in a faster motor and the big bore shocks. Because I thought the winter season started next sunday, but gives me more time to play with car and get more gear.

Well hopefully we'll see you again at the winter series, ill be there! i cant wait!
Are you going to upgrade the x10 with the x11 upgrade parts? i did the steering linkage arms on mine because the standard x10 ones got bent.

Well I would be upgrading the car, but have done my left ankle and it costing alot of money to get right again. Work have said that they have put forward 400, but I haven't seen a penny of it yet. But they are going to take over the cost of treament. When that happens I will be doing my shocks first aswell as the motor, then the steering. But don't worry I will be up there for the winter series, but going to get some time on the track in a few weeks time, so got to get in touch with steve or mat
