Here are some pics of my brushless Tomy, which I plan to run on Tuesday at Silverstone to see how it goes...

Its had very light use in the past, most of the parts are new excluding the bumper which has seen a bit of action. Other than that could be a shelf queen but I plan to run it. (albeit on a nice dry indoor track)

Just been painted (by Janos Nagy), the shell wasn't the easiest to fit as the spur centre rubs on it as the sides are a little too short, but close enough...

Has the (rubbish) kose driveshafts (if they last 5 mins) and yoko wheel adaptors to keep my std wheels mint... will be running the black wheels as the pink isn't the right colour... :D

Will be running an Orion VST 8.5/R10/90c Saddles and a 1258 Savox... so should go pretty well!

Excellent stuff. I remember how planted and how squarely they landed off jumps indoors. Should still be capable if its reliable for you.

Very good cars and had some great scraps with one in the 90's. very stable but seemed more agressive compared to the Yokomo. Hope the belt can handle it and may be a good idea to fit tensioners to both belts.

Hey, that looks really nice..

The Kose stuff looks bling, but you are probably right that the driveshafts aren't very durable...the units are two pieces so I suspect (if you haven't done so already) you should put some thread lock so they don't keep unscrewing themselves..

Cheers guys...

Have run the same kit in my Cat XLS and it wasn't too bad as long as all the punch is all turned down etc... belts seem to be tensioned about right so fingers crossed and can always drop down to a 10.5 if need be...

I've already patch locked the driveshafts, but wouldn't trust them too much so will take the old ones just in case... ;)

Looks ace Adam - it actually looks quite modern looking with the fairly Cab-forward shell, sort of reminds me of a Tamiya 511?
