So hows everybody finding them, Ive had my K1 for 9 months now, and still find it tail heavy when thrashing through the corners, but still running normal diffs
Does it help with out of corner speeds, more drive from the wheels ?
Would you recommend 2 new diffs and some yokes ?
thanks

I have geared diffs in my K1 and I really like it, seems to have more punch out of the corners and the car seems to corner a bit better. But I think the gear diffs seem better for high grip tracks like astro whilst on dirt the ball diffs would be better.
If you are finding the car tail happy though that seems to be more of a set up issue, try the TrishBits rear weight and putting the rear upper suspeion link on the outer hole.

Sure the top drivers at the dirt were using gear diffs

i have geared diffs in my car, i put them in more for reliability than anything else.
if i am honest, i couldn't really notice any difference between geared and ball diffs.
i am planning on switching between geared and ball diffs in the rear in the wet to see if i can notice anything or to give me better drive out of the corners.

I might give em a go with some trishbits, do find it tail happy still
If it is tail heppy have you looked at roll bars, springs and toe, tyre set ups first.
Changing the components and adding weights can just cover up other set up issues more connected to the type of track and surface you are driving on.
