Hi
Just bought a Sworkz S350 BE1 Pro for a bargin price and wondering what setups people are using eg:
Motor
Speed controller
Batteries
I have seen a lot of people are using the Tekin 1900kv but I want to use something a little cheaper, like Tunigy or Hobbywing/king
My local track (Dirt Effect Frome) is a medium, relatively tight dirt track with one long straight.
Also there doesn't seem to be many pro setups available to download, any idea where to get them from?
Any help would be greatly received.
Cheers Dave

Hello,
I don't race a SWorkz but I may be able to give you a little help. I have done the Dirt Effect RC SRS and came a few seconds behind 3rd. 1800kv is the ideal KV. Hobbywing do one from Hong Kong. Turnigy won't last hobbywing will. On the side of batteries not sure if you are interested I would say 6000 or 6600mah 2s Turnigys, or if you have the money grab your sell a set of intelicts.
All the best.

That's the kind of setup I've been looking at, what sort of run times are you getting?

Hello Dave,
I would consider myself quite a smooth driver. I got 20 minutes on a 6500mAh with 11% left. I was little skeptical if I was going to get 20 so I wasn't completely flat out. I came 2nd in the race behind someone with 7200mAh who had 16% left. It will be down to driving, KV, and gearing ofcourse.
Best Regards

if you want runtimes go for higher voltage
I don't know the rules in UK but here we can run 6 cells and it's much more efficient
the s350 is an excellent car and you could use two 3s lipos with a 1400kv motor and get more runtime and less heat than any 4s setup
if you want to keep it 2x2s, use a 1700 to 1900kv motor, the tenshock are cheap and good
or a used tekin 1900..
for the esc you don't need more than 120A, everyone saying the contrary isn(t setting his car right, the xerun sct 120A is perfect for this application: cheap, smooth and reliable (in 4S only)
I even ran a mamba max pro in 6s this summer on my durango with a 1400kv t8 and we did a 12 hours endurance with it without failure (this esc is rated 100A which is perfect in 6S 1400kv)
runtime: 20 minutes on a big track with a 6s 3300mah lipo (500 grams)
for the batts gens ace or nanotech: cheap but good, no need using hardcase though they are heavier, more expensive and when the lipo gets a bit bigger (they always do even if with a good charger and storage) the case cracks..

So what amps would I be pulling and run times, with S-Workz Be 1400KV Thunder Power Viper ESC, could I use 4300 Smc 3s packs? thanks
