I've recently restored and began racing my old schumacher procat indoors at my local track. It's been going really well and showing up lots of newer machinery.

But I need some help - I need the rear diff pressure plates and washers preferably from a Bosscat, due to me melting the mms ones I did have in (diff went loose and washers spun). I have found that if you mill down the drive pin ever so slightly then sx3 thrust race will fit (so problem should not happen again)

Please let me know if you can help as I prefer to race the procat over my more modern cat.

I presently came back to racing after 20 years & set myself up with the CAT SX3 but as yet I can't get on with it so was considering looking on EBAY for a Procat as this is what I last raced very successfully. The only problem I could see would be mounting modern Hardcase LIPO Saddle pack batteries but after some thought I decided a few minutes with a drill on the chassis & you could make the holes needed to fit the battery mounts from the SX3 allowing the use of LIPOs this would give the power to match modern cars as I'm pretty sure modern brushless motors & speedos would fit no problem. I'm sure this would allow a Procat to be more than a match for any of the modern selection of cars racing.

Yep running mine in exactly that configuration apart from using Velcro ties as opposed to sx3 clamps for lipos - it runs great and making a final regular with it. It's a much more forgiving car than the sx3. The only issue is the old cars are significantly lighter than the new ones so pick your battles as you will come off worse.
