Last year at the Aces there were about 60 - 70 drivers, so hopefully should be about the same amount if not more!
Anyone on here going????
Yes i will be there, first time off roading in years:D

I've not decided yet Chris, I like my B4 round Teeside but there's some things I want to try for 4wd
Probably 2wd as what I want to play with on the BJ isn't as relevant on super high grip ;)

And that has nothing to do with the fact I dont have a 4wd HAHAAHAH!!

I can see a day of comedy random failures, he's only just figured out how to get his BX through 5 minutes without his motor wire tie-wraps :D

HAAHAHAHA Im looking forward to seeing more examples of the copious useage of plastic tie-wraps on parts that get hot enough to melt them

Anyone got an idea how many 4wd's are likely to turn up? I know 2wd is the favoured class down at Teesside.

Email Stewart at Teesside, as he's taking pre-booking entries, might be able to answer your question. Infact I'm going down there later, might be able to find out for you, wouldn't be able to let you know until 7ish though!!

Did you ask Stewart Simon? I'm going downstairs now to fix the busted tourer, then I might switch the electrics over for the Aces.
Baby's first feed is at about 7 so that works out nicely for arriving at the track around 8am!

Stewart wasn't there, talking to the guys that were there, definitely more booked in for 2wd, but they didn't have exact figures.
I had a great day, well organised and was good fun. I dont think I did too badly, nor too great (4th in the D). Competitive finals!

Yes, credit to the TRCC team and the racers, it seemed to be a very well run meeting with a very good atmosphere. I liked the track layout too.
What an excellent day, todays track layout was first class. The cub has applied for the indoor finals, if the event goes further south this time I really hope that the club will apply again for 2008.
I'll post pics and a little report on northernracer tommow night (not even gonna' drop the pics off the camera tonight).

Agree with all of the above.First time at Teeside and thought it was really well ran and very well organised.Only managed to get pole in the B final 4WD which was not as planned but enjoyed myself anyway.Well done.

I know some people think B4's are rubbish, but Rich, thats a bit serious!
You'll be flushing it down the pan soon! :o

The losi should be in the bin not the b4;)

LOL,
All I can think about looking at that shot, is the whole of the rostrum shouting "Stu move", and then again on lap 2 "Stu move", I think somebody shouted "Great Scott" tho
Im sure I heard someone shout great scott, followed by a loud "1.21 GIGAWATTS!" which I started laughing at.

I just found out, for the first time EVER, I'm going to have a Summer birthday when I'm in Chile! Beach BBQ baby!
I actually got inside the barbers today, and yes, I sat in the chair.
When the nice girl aked what I wanted I tried to say 'make it madder' but all I could manage was 'trim'.
Sorry.

G
Boys and girls
i need some more practice, i know teesside run a club night on a sat night, could anyone tell me what time they start and finish please.
I really do need the practice:D
Barry Williams
16-11-2006, 03:33 PM
Teesside doors open at about 4.30 for racing to start around 6ish, so you get a decent amount of practice if you want it, BUT dont come this weekend to race on Sat night as there is a 1/12th scale national on and they are racing all day Sat and Sun so no racing this sat night.
Back to normal the week after though.
Just my luck, thanks very much anyway;)
Lee, come on over to York Sat night, but don;t forget that it's not at the usual Huntington venue but at the alternate Lowfields site. PM me if you need directions.

Methinks it's the Teesside club championship in 2 weekends time - as in - not this weekend but the one after. The more the merrier...
I may even have a working X-6 by then :o
Chrislong
