South SCT racing

Hi,

I'm interested in seeing what the interest would be for a club in the South for racing large scale RC (Losi 5ive T etc.).

I know many have been sold in this class through Apex models in Crowthorne and wondered if a club is something people would be interested in.

There's some club in Kent/Essex I think who race large scale, think there is a big indoor event near Rushden in Cambridgeshire.

Trouble in the South would be planning issues due to size and noise.

Might be better organising a bash meet (in a VERY safe place!)

Cheers Dudders.... I'm trying to see if there would be any interest in such a track in the M3, M4 and A3 corridor. A local track compared to driving to Kent etc.

Give Darren Bloomfield a shout, he's local and races them, sure I've seen a video of him locally somewhere on yoooootooooob.

So... Large scale (1/5th) SCT racers.. Would how many are there down south and would you if a track was built be interested?

Sussex Bashers have their own track and race large scale, they are based mainly on MSUK Forum

Clanfield are now running 5th scale
