7.4volt lipo we have managed to squeeze in a 2500mah one
this one CLICKY (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/7-4V-2S-2500mAh-Lipo-battery-for-RC-FUTABA-12FG-8FG-TX-/221230396343?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item33825bf3b7)

A couple of years ago I bought a second hand transmitter as a spare.
It had a Yeah Racing 3S lipo in it. I have used that battery for about 3 years now, without any problems.
Next season I will run the Gens Ace 2600mAh 2s lipo for transmitters.

I'm pretty sure the Exzes Plus runs on 11.1v (3S) so 7.4v would be no good.

we don't have any 3S in stock at the moment as all the latest trannies run on 2S

Let's try and clear this one up, the original poster is asking about an Exzes PLUS, which is the old transmitter not available to buy new any more.

The Exzes X, which is the current one obviously isn't 11.1v it is 7.4v

So yes, anyone with an Exzes X DON'T try 11.1v lipos in it!

But with an Exzes PLUS I would think you would get low voltage errors flashing up with a 7.4 lipo

The Exzes Plus, also known as the Super Exzes has an old style voltage meter on the top front (ie a needle and gauge) and a plug in module on the back.

The Exzes X is fully digital (LCD) and has no module, and doesn't have the word "plus" or "super" in its name.

To complicate matters, the new Exzes Z (out soon) is going to be called the Super Ezxes Z lol

[QUOTE=john333;810194]The Exzes Plus, also known as the Super Exzes has an old style voltage meter on the top front (ie a needle and gauge) and a plug in module on the back.

Its not a volt meter buddy, its a signal gauge, unplug the crystal or fm module and it will read zero;) the voltage is displayed on the digital screen:)

That would explain why i have never seen that move, thought it was faulty!
