Jeeezzzz ! you guys are a bit crazy today:woot:
Stu, regarding indoor racing this winter, I'm quite sure we will have the Supercup and the regional, however how many club meetings we will have I'm unsure.
They financially usually run at a loss, with the outdoors subsidising this. Unfortunately this year (and much the same last year), the outdoors has been so badly hit by poor weather and flooding, the bank balance is very low:(
All I can say is I think the club will do the best it can to provide for its members/guests:)

good stuff
just an idea, but if general club meetings are going to be limited this year, how about timing some of them to coincide with when york doesn;t run on on saturday night i.e school holidays. That way it could be that potential attendance is maximised??
would presume hall costs covered by around 35 to 40 drivers.batley needs indoor meetings, otherwise racers will keep going to bury, york, worksop etc.are funds so low that they cant support a few club meets?what happened to race fees when meetings have been cancelled after 2 rounds?isnt it time the club gave a little back to the faithful?many thanks jez.

back on a serious note>
why is it that clubs in the north seem to end up competing for a finite number of racers rather than working together to produce a co-ordinated calender?

As far as I know Jez, recent increases in hall rent mean we actually need around the 50 driver mark to break even:o I'm sure Dianne will verify what the actual numbers are if you have a chat with her.

No as i understand it, thats exactly what will happen, all I was hinting at was don't expect a club meeting every other week throughout the whole winter, the purse simply isn't large enough this year.
