DEX410 + RS Gen2

Hi,

I bought a DEX410v3 last monday, spent the week building it after work.

I also bought a Gen 2 8.5T motor along with the Tekin RS Gen 2.

Some people at the track are telling me to not use the RS because it was not designed for 4wd RC car.

Anybody using it in their 4wd buggy?

I once had an RS Pro (Gen1) in my 410 and I couldn't get it to last 5 mins with a 6.5 without the thermal cut out kicking in. Based on my experiences I think you'll struggle.

What would you suggest? I want a sensored combo.

Try a hobby wing V3 or V2.1 both have fan cooling.

I had a rs pro in my 410 with a 6.5 and it went into thermal shutdown after 4 minutes every run without fail, terrible speed control I would never recommend it to anyone.

Superb esc,For under thirty quid you cannot go wrong.
I run it with a Tekin gen 1 5.5.
I had the rs pro and used it for two races (thermaled both races)before i literally ripped it out of the car and threw it into the field next to where we were pitting.May still be there?
