I am traveling to England and will be there on the 17th. I would like to race with you all. Any issues with a ROAR member to join? I would bring my 2wd Buggy, B4.2. Will there be practice Saturday? Where can I get tyres?

Hi, you will be more than welcome to join us and race on the Sunday, as a non BRCA member you are allowed to race 3 times before needing to join.
there is no practice on Saturday, but there is open practice before racing starts on the Sunday, gates open around the 8am mark.
Tyres will be available from www.Insidelineracing.co.uk (http://www.Insidelineracing.co.uk) who will be trackside on the day, or you can order online and use trackside collection at checkout.
Control tyre is Schumacher Mini spike any compound on the rear axle, if wet then silver or green's in the dry its yellow.
You will need to have you own PT, if you do not own one we do have a couple of club handouts which can be used but you will need to let us know well in advance so one is charged and brought to the track.
Race entry for Non-members on the day is £10
more info available here.

Thanks Adrian. I have a PT and tyres are ordered with insideline. I am in country and looking forward to meeting you all and racing on astroturf.
Great days racing, was it me or did it get more slippery for the finals? Many thanks to Keith, Margaret & Richard and the team today.

Despite my uncanny ability to screw up the days efforts in the final, I had another thoroughly enjoyable day, well done again

I wanted to thank everyone at Stotfold Model Car Club for allowing me to race with you. It was a very good experience for me to learn tuning on Astroturf with my B4.2. Not easy by any means. You have a very well run club and a fantastic facility. I hope to someday return. I will store my Schumacher minipins and staggered rib tires until then!!
Thanks,
Tom Erickson
