Does anyone have picture or can point me in the direction of a pic of an rb6 with the rb5 rear wishbones on, can't figure out which way round they are supposed to be, ie whether you are attaching shock to back edge or through aperture on other side, not sure that makes any sense but any help appreciated!

When I used them I put the shock bottom through the aperture on the inside hole. To be honest though the same effect can be got by using the kit wishbones with the roll bar kit.

You can run them both ways, check out Tebo's car.

Mounting the arms this way gives you a shorter wheelbase, more weight over the rear end.

If you mount them the other way (Kev Lee style) you have to mount them on the outside of the hole or the shocks will be at too far of an angle.

Thanks a lot, hadn't considered mounting using aperture but on outside the way Kev seems to be.

EJW - This is the same way as those running the RB5 Vega conversion ran them successfully.

Mounting them on the outside you can also drill a third hole inboard of the existing two, which was also a popular mod.

Hope this helps - Nigel.

Thanks Nigel

I have ended up as per pic, from the pics I've seen this is the way Kev Lee was using them.

Put a shockend ball in the slot so you nip it up without deforming the arm

Thanks Big T

I noticed mine had deformed and didn't look very sturdy so had a trawl through the "show us your vega " thread for pics for rb5 conversions and noticed a few using washer or what ever, all done now. Will be running it again in Tuesday so will see what difference if any it makes!

Thanks everyone for help.
