Looks like you said too much already, 2 For sale in the last hour.
at least some one can read between the lines, simple check out MB Models K1 sale, usually means some thing is due out, and just guessing about a U.S spec after reading the forum requesting gear diffs as standard, alloy wish bone carriers etc etc.
it seems to be a common thing to do, quietly dump the old stock prior to a new release, would it not be better to announce a new model and at the same time officially lower the price of the existing kit, giving the customer all the info up front to either buy a current model at a lower price or wait for the new one and pay the full price.
Dumping product can mean several things not just a new model but is the company going out of business, being taken over for another, I think in the long term it also damages customer brand loyalty, there is nothing worse than turning up with a new car only to hear a newer one has been released or the price you have just paid has been chopped by 50%.

Agree!
And good way to finish the post off after above feedback
They never have liked to give too much away though until the day it's out and everyone loses money
Honesty best way

So for example you two buy a k1 tomorrow and Friday Schumacher anounce a k1 let's say worlds kit and drop the price of the current k1 on the same day, you will not feel the same as your comments?

K1 has been out almost a year
anyone familiar with schumacher will know that there must be something new coming.
The SX3 was long awaited and only had a 9 month life cycle
it was this time last year that prices on that were being slashed
all the price slash does is kill the 2nd hand market
any changes could no doubt be easily upgraded on older kits

Quite glad that manufacturers don't do business in the way that a couple on here would seem to want.
We'd have a lot less manufacturers around if they did.
Announcing a new model, officially, before stocks of the outgoing model are at a minimal level is not far off the worst thing you could do.
Other than doing a Ratner.

9 month life cycle for the SX3 is not true. We got ours in May/june 2011 and the K1 in December 2012

Every Schumacher off road car has a 2 year cycle (and I'm pretty familiar with the brand). Ulrich is quite right in that the SX3 did indeed do 2 seasons, as did the SX before it.
If Schumacher are releasing kits with upgrades etc then thats no different to every other manufacturer who do it (as I'm sure Yokomo have just done).

Totally agree.
X-ray have just released the XB4 2014 less than a year after the original one came out.

Just out of interest, what is the significance of "us spec" as an assumed name for any new kit??

Talking to a source yesterday and also could well be a B.S spec K1 as well and from what he said will be very different to the car now. Think the idea of the new hotbodies shaft drive with center diff.
