Yep...pub and curry house both still there!
We've been clearing out some of the storage on the site over the last few weeks...I suspect there are (or were) quite a few things still there from when you last visited that probably shouldn't be :woot:
Really exciting for the club to get an oOple round...really looking forward to hosting it :D

After doing 2 rounds last year it would be lovely to add a track further afield.
Weston Super Mare sounds nice!

Great to see a round at Mendip, might pop along for a look see even if I can not do that round.
I know the 2 day format is popular but sadly means not viable for me. Hope it is as good as last year apparently was and that everybody has a blast :)

FFS, my diesel bill is going to be mighty big this year! It'll be worth it though, if its anywhere near as good as last years series.

Thanks to the oOple warriors for taking the bull by the horns whilst I've been lazy and chilling out.... I mean ill and broken. Stellar job - went pretty much perfectly last year - bigger and better for 2014!

Only managed the first round last year, but promised myself that I would do all three next year. Now I see there is four rounds, even better. Just hope now that there are no clashes with our regionals, so I can do all four :thumbsup:

Does this mean we need to set 2 DRS zones on the tracks?

Entries open tomorrow 8PM, Friday 17th Jan 2014, for the second running of the oOple off-road open series. Expanded to 4 rounds, this is going to be a fantastic series with trophies for each final and a chilled out 2-day race weekend for all classes.

New to the series is a classic RC10 class - STRICTLY controlled so all the cars are equally bad and fun. We will likely run hand-out 21.5 motors and if not filled then outlaw rc10's or other vintage cars can race - but the 'Championship' will be for the Classic RC10 running to the rules we lay down.
CML still have stock of the re-release classic 6 gear gold tub car - so if you want to race get one ordered!
We will probably allow this as a second class to make sure we get good numbers - if people want to race their regular 2WD or 4WD along with classic rc10 controlled class.

Weston Super Mare......Straight down the M6 then M5 and then 20 miles south of Bristol :)
Well me and Tommy are hoping for an entry and are looking forward to a weekend away down south.
Few Questions
Do you have gravy?
How far is the pub?
Do your shops sell Regal king size fags?
:-)
Don't worry Dan, if I get my place I'll bring lots of gravy.
