Modelsport - the worlds longest order delay - 18 months

Got a lovely surprise this morning. Modelsport emailed me to let me know that an order had been despatched. Trouble is I couldn't remember the order!

Looked it up, it was a couple of bits of velcro I ordered on the 6th May 2012 - over 18 months ago! Can't fault them for not following through on the order.

Anyone do longer than that - is there a prize I can claim?

That is shocking, and absolutely nothing like the service I have received from modelsport over the last two decades. The worst I have had from them was waiting 2 weeks for my TTech Predator National in 1995.

Order something Hong Nor and wait generally 2 months
I now order from the US it's quicker

On the other side my friend at work had orded a kit Monday morning and it arrived the next day before 10 am.

I once waited 16 weeks for some elastic bands to hold the wings down on a Firebird XL from Ripmax... LOL.. this thread should have run n run... :woot::woot:
