wiring help?

Hey all,
Just checking my if my thoughts are right?

I have some shorty lipos coming with push in 4mm bullet connections.
Can I run the esc connectins to the battery,
And make another lead for checking the cells voltages by itself once the battery has been removed/disconnected?
This way I dont have to have it connected in the car?
Means I only have the one battery connection in the car rather than 2.

Yup, just put bullets on the end of the esc power leads.
Then you'll probably find that the shorty comes with most of a charge/balance cable. You'll just need to solder something to the end of the charge cable so it'll connect to your charger.

Ideal thats what I needed to know,
I will have to get a banan lead to charge anyway and will make another link lead for my cell checker,

Make sure you colour code the wires/batteries.
Biggest risk with bullets is putting then in the wrong hole, can't do that with a dean's style connector.
So red wire, red heat shrink, red paint round the + connector on the battery. You should be ok.
