Anyone any ideas?

I switch the car on, get steering etc no probs, and have set the speedo up as per book, yet when i move the throttle stick forward nothing (when setting up the speedo it doesnt beep etc) on the speedo itself the yellow/red lights flash together both for acceleration and brake?? If i say spin the motor by hand sometimes it moves briefly or sometimes not at all??

Ive tried different motors etc and get the same problem??

A while back a motor i was running in the car (Lrp Sphere) the bonded magnet failed and obviously the car stopped... it worked again afterwards after changing the motor...

If people suggest it needs repairing, which i guess it will... where do we send LRP's too? Also anyone know what the turn round is on repairs??

Thaks in advance!!

Nick

I suggest you start by running the same motor and ESC and just take a new sensor wire. These are really sensetive and the wire can fail when beeing run in damp conditions.

If it still doesn't work try with the new sensor wire and a different motor.

Thanks for your help.... i had tried a new sensor wire also, i shoul dhave said??

From what i described above, to you does that sound like it could be the sensor wire?

Cheers

I'd agree, it's the sensor or sensor wire. I had the same thing with a speed passion motor after a nasty crash. It turned out to be the sensor in the motor.
