Hi everyone,
I bought a K1 recently, and on arrival of the car I was surprised to see how much bigger the K1's spring diameter is compared to the Durango Big Bore springs I usually run. As a result, the Durango Big Bore springs don't fit on the preload adjuster.
The TD springs have a 15.5mm inside diameter. The K1 springs have a 16mm top inside diameter, 17mm main inside diameter and 13.1mm bottom inside diameter. The bottom spring retainer is an easy fix: I'll just use a Durango cup and shock ends.
As for the preload retainers, I could have someone machine it down to a 15-15.25mm diameter to make the Durango springs fit, but I'd rather find a standard part that solves it. Does anyone have suggestions/a fix for this? :)
