The DEX410 one has been done before, search for 'lazer gear diff' in the kyosho forum - complete gear diff is 40 quid from inside line, probably another 20 quids worth of bits needed on top of that, tempted to try it myself at some point but cheap it aint

And to do it properly you also have to fit bigger pins on your CVDs and center dogbone.

The Kyosho gear diffs are in testing before they go into production.
As always Kyosho make sure its all good before massive production.
I have tested lots with Durango diffs and on high grip its a benefit but with the Kyosho proto-types the car is much better.
I do feel the car with ball diffs can be easier to drive though
:)
I know someone is going to ask me when but unfortunately I can't answer apart from soon hopefully - LOL

No worries ill just wait till the proper one comes out it's only gonna be used on the high grip indoor tracks I race on. Cos the ball diffs are taking a hammering

Balls mate ...... of and lube of course

It's all to do with having well lubed balls! ;)

The diff in my DB2 is still perfect after 5 meetings without being touched, not getting a hammering at all.

I did use fresh diff plates, sanded from new, fresh BRG100 thrust race, X-gear lubes and finally RudeBits carbide diff balls.

Trust me, use the RudeBits carbide balls with Kyosho/Xgear stuff everywhere else and you'll be golden.
