one for the electronics guru's out there.
I have an old CDC charger that is my back up charger. The start/enter button is a bit wonky these days, it takes various wiggling and multiple prodding to get it to work. I wondered if i can pick up a suitable button from Maplin and replace it? I'm not bothered about appearance, it can hang out of the case, as long as it works. I'm guessing there are just two wires going to it, so i can solder the new one on as a straight replacement? Will it matter which way round the wires are (pos/neg etc) or is it simply a button to complete a circuit?
Can anyone suggest a suitable button from Maplins, if you have replced something similar yourself?
thanks
