Calling all Racers I am pleased to announce that marstons model car club and LRP/SMD have teamed up to bring you the LRP Cup. This will be a controlled tire event for rubber and foam class,
Dates are as follow:
16th November 08
14th December 08
18th January 09
15th February 09

Mine was retired through boredom mate after running it for about 3 meetings!
Good to see you still giving Marston a good go though mate.

I'd go to one if you do ben, just cos I wanna see you smash into stuff.
I had a go with one at teesside. Broke it (fuckin get in!!) was pretty snazzy to drive.

that would be fun touring!
Cant we just put touring car wheels on our buggy's? So then were not like fully touring car drivers? :woot:

Touring cars are bad enough, i couldn't be associated with foams as well :thumbdown:

Hi Chris, we are putting 18th scale heat/heats on, depending on numbers, it would be nice to see some of you LRP drivers there :thumbsup:

Just some more details of this meeting,
The controlled rubber tire is lrp vtecs 27 compound
The controlled foam tire is lrp vtecs 37 for front and 35 for rear,
we have just had the first lot of tires come for the meeting, we will be selling them track side, for those of you that like to run more then one set a day,
If you are after some before the first round the please pm me for the price, they will be cheaper the rrp,
There will be a food van at the meeting for you that need that winning bacon buttie first thing http://www.rcracechat.com/vb/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

a QUICK note entry fee for any class that does not have a control eg. 1/14, 1/12, 1/18 will only be a 10.00 entry fee. The 25.00 for first round applys only 1/10 touring cars running foam or rubber with the control tyres
Come on guys and girls spaces still left, its not to late to get your entry in for this sunday :)
Don't forget this Sunday 14th Dec is round 2
I know Frankly and Coventry are on but we will be nice and warm :)
