During my today practice one of my steering crank posts broke in three pieces. Along with it the bearing on top completely dismantled. After further examination I noticed the screws that Yokomo uses for the assembly of the posts (M3 X 8mm). These screws are short, giving a gap between the top and the bottom screw of 8mm. This gap tends to absorb all the tension of the post. I have change the chassis side screw with a M3 X 16mm on both the posts hoping that my thoughts are sensible. I hope I helped.
