Hi MHeadling,

I am working on a centre diff for the 410, for the standard chassis, it should be a direkt replacement of the slipper part, without any other modifications as i have seen over on other threads or on rctech....
As alleady sayed on other threads, i'm not a realy good driver to test it and to assess it, but i have some austrian nats drivers in the club, i would like to race sometimes this summer and i'll give it to them for testing!
I lett you know, when all my parts are in and assambled, like i would like to have....

What i can say at this point, it will be a ball diff, like the rc shox diff for the sc10 4x4!

I didn't buy it, someone else got it

Do you sell your chassis conversion bman or was it a one off project?

How does it drive with this cell layout and the centre diff??

I used the centre diff from the truck with the truck motor mount. I had to cut it down, tap holes, drill the chassis etc.
I had to change driveshafts around so I can't say what I'm using now as I don't remember - but the NEW rear centre is shorter than the old one - so I might have used that.

I made a brace like the original and cut the side pods AND bulkhead so the cells would sit side by side b44 style right against the rear bulkhead. My brace was hand made and too weak. Not had chance to do anything since with it.

As I said - I did this 2 years ago or there abouts, it seems that after racing at the EUROS with a B44 pack layout and lots of changes - with room for a centre diff, TD had the perfect chance to out-do the others. Slipper as standard, centre diff as option - everyone is a winner.

Everyone knows when JQ gets the time - his 10th car will have 3 diffs. I think he won some Scandinavian title with a car he nailed together with three diffs back around 2010 or so? I stand to be corrected but his Finnish friends told me all about his car at the 2010 Euros.

Just saying - missed op and I can't believe no one has made one yet (well, you have now hehe.) I did point TD to look that way when I worked there since I made it when I worked there.

I free-styled mine as you can see. I had no calipers or anything at the time - just a marker pen and a ruler.
My rear brace went out wider and came back in onto the two posts. I think it would always be too flexible this way. Hupo and Joern used a carbon battery strap down the centre of the chassis - with cells either side.

It has run - I will rebuild it one day with some changes.

haha, you can see where I cut the rear bulkhead tabs with a hacksaw whilst on the chassis to move the cells even further back. 410 has never been a rear-traction-king.

I am currently making some and already have a few sold. It drives great. The chassis is +10 and with the saddle/center diff combo the thing is planted. I had to add some steering. I am currently running 120k in the center diff. Can't wait to try it outside. I believe this will be it's strong point. Fluffy wide open tracks (U.S.) Bring the center down to like 50-60K and we'll be hooked up!!:woot:
