Hi All,
Just wanted to start this thread so that as many people as possible are aware of the nationals this year.
We really want to try and get all levels of driver out for this one for some good racing and a bit of craic.

Please be aware that Ballistic Buggy mini spikes will be allowed for the first three rounds. (as well as Schumachers)

Hi all,
Just to remind everyone that the first round will be on in Navan on April 26th.
Gates will be open at 8:30am, and track open at 9 for practice.
The track will close at 10 and the first race will be approx. 10:30.
Membership forms will be taken on the day.

What a fantastic day today was for the sport of 1/10th RC off road racing:thumbsup:
Young and not so young:woot: from all over Ireland racing together in the Irish Nationals and having a bit of craic:D:thumbsup::D
A BIG thanks to Enda and his team from the NNN and also to Colin who ran the day with great aplomb.
It was also good to catch up with some racers I don't tend to see too often.
So, roll on R2,3&4:thumbsup:

Totally agree had a great day racing weather conditions made it interesting well done to mark and Bradley for there wins and enda , colin for running a good days racing.

It was a great days close racing and i really enjoyed it ( not having done the nationals since the early 90's) it was a welcome change.
Great to catch up with some guys i have not seen for a while on the day.
Looking forward to the rest of the series

Yes , Well done to all the guys involved at Navan from Alan & I, a great 1st round of the nat`s which was very unpredictable due to the weather and well done to Colin who ran the event very professionaly and made even better with his commentary etc.:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yeah Colin great commentary and thanks for reminding me everytime I threw my 4wd off the track in the finals lol.
seriously though I really enjoyed the day.wierd weather too !
well done brad .his climate change judgement was far better than mine !! must to to navan more ha ha..

just to add to everyone elses comments ,many thanks to Enda, Colin -Commentary! ,excellent by the way and all at N.N.N. for holding a great entertainibg and exciting opening round of the nationals. i really enjoyed it and the weather was kinder than expected but provided a great mix to the races, i am looking forward to going back.thanks also to celtic (hope the tourettes are cleared up!!!!):lol:, click, and the doktor for their help , support and crack throughout the day, roll on round 2!!!:thumbsup:

Well done to all the winners, Bradley Baird, Kevin White, Mark Penny and Graham Parkes.
I think the guys at NNN did a fantastic job running the day, and not forgetting all the NNN members who did work on the track to make it suitable for 1/10th. And of course Colin for the great commentary (theres a job for you when Mícheál Ó Muircheartaigh retires)

With round 2 of the 1/10th offroad nationals taking place at the DMCC (the naul). There will be an open practice night for all members and non-members on May 14th. Doors open at 18:30 untill approx 22:30.
The fee will be €5, (no charge for members who pay monthly race fee).This should give anyone who would like to practice a chance to try the track without having to run heats.
There is plenty of pitting/tables/power all indoors.

Doors will be open at 8:30am with the track open for practice from 9:00 till 10am.
The first heat will kick off at 10:30am.
We will also stop for a 30 minute lunch break.
There is plenty of indoor pitting and tables are provided. Power is also provided.
Race fee is €10 for the first class plus 5 for a second.
Control tyres for the day is Schumacher mini spikes or Ballistic Buggy mini spikes on all driven axles.
The timing system is Mylaps RC4 and there will be handouts available.

There is a Cafe which does take away food in the Seamus Ennis Center in Naul village and a shop just opposite.(Naul village is less than 1 minute drive)

Doors will be open at 8:30am with the track open for practice from 9:00 till 10am.
Can drivers please book in as soon as they arrive!!!
Booking in will finish at 10am with the drivers briefing shortly after.
The first heat will kick off at 10:30am.
We will also stop for a 30 minute lunch break after Qualifying.
There is plenty of indoor pitting and tables are provided. Power is also provided (bring an extension cable)
Race fee is €10 for the first class plus €5 for a second.
Control tyres for the day is Schumacher mini spikes or Ballistic Buggy mini spikes on all driven axles.

Was a good days racing at Round 3 of the RCCAOI 1/10th off road nationals at the Naul yesterday.
Well done to 1st Wayne McGuire, 2nd Tony Dorney and 3rd Dave Bolger in 2WD Clubman.
Also to 1st Mark Penny, 2nd Michael Bolger and 3rd Dylan McBurney in both 2wd and 4wd Modified.
Roll on round 4 at Banbridge!

What an absolutely brilliant last round to the 2014 RCCAOI off road national series.
The BADMCC track was great fun with a mixture of clay and astro, with some cobble lock thrown in :thumbsup:
Big thanks to Barkley for running the event which ran like clockwork :thumbsup:
Also thanks to the 1/10 RCCAOI reps, Lee & Graham for organising a very successful series.

Was a deadly days racing I thought. Barkley ran a great day, BADMCC is a great setup!
have to say I quite enjoyed racing in the wet dirt, though my shiny blue alloy is gonna take a lot of cleaning! :woot:
