Last year I bought some of the standard forward cab body shells as they were very cheap at the time.
I've got a RTR DEX210 with the +8mm chassis and I've finally killed the original RTR shell, I trimmed up one of the standard shells thinking maybe it would fit with a bit of adjustment but from what I can see the only difference is it is very very slightly tighter on the chassis and the holes are understandably a few mm's out. The contours along the chassis are pretty good.
Am I missing something? A bit of tape on the inside will prevent chassis rubbing.
Just thought I'd share this given these can still be bought for less than half the price of the +8mm ones on ebay.
