Gearing for 13.5T

Want to try Touring car out. Can anyone give me an overall gear ratio as a starting point for a 13.5T motor and do you use timing.

On the MI1 that I was using a few weeks ago I had 86t spur 28tooth pinion and was running turbo boost on speedo and turned the timing up abit.
