Hi guys,
Seem to be going through blades on the rear driveshafts in about two races (to the point of where they're absolutely trashed). The fronts haven't been changed since i've had the car, and are in really good condition still.
The only difference i can think of between the front and rear is that the front diff is a little looser than the rear.
So, i'm pretty sure i shouldn't be ripping through the blades this quick, and would like to know if anyone else ever had this issue, and what they did to rectify it. (diff too tight, slipper too tight etc..)
cheers,
Stanners

I never had that issue sorry dude
Hmm.. something doesnt sound right there... Are you sure your putting them on correctly? Or maybe a bad batch?
Ben
Stan i bet its a tight diff, we used to go through a set of blades every run on the tourers when we ran a spool ;)

im ultra agresive on mine stan and they still last a few meetings without issue. check ya droop levels in the rear to make sure the blades arnt hanging out at all and check that your diff halves havent been made rough by a set failing ;)

Stanners, I recall you showing my dad how you have increased the amount of droop on the rear of your car by re-drilling the shock mounting positions on your rear upper wishbones and this excess droop is probably causing the buds/blades to come too close to the edge of the outdrive and getting munched.

perhaps as you have changed the track of the rear end the shafts are hitting the inner end of the outdrive and causing failer that way m8 as they are quite close in the standard position ???
