tx-rx binding issue please help

Hi there

I have the TAMCO TAC 330 3ch 2.4ghz transmitter which has woorked faultlessly for 9 months or so

Yesterday I cam to bind one of my TAMCO receivers to the TX and it just won't bind!

I have the transmitter very close to the receiver and hold the bind button in, the red light flashes and then goes solid red indicating the binding has failed

I tried with a different receiver but same problem

My existing bindings remain on the other models but I can't seem to bind anything else

Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

I'm considering doing a reset on the TX but I'm guessing that none of my exisiting model memory bindings will remain and then if the TX/RX will not bind the whole thing will be useless

If they are held too close binding *can* fail. Try a foot or so separation.

I don't have the tamco system but on my frsky stuff if the receiver and transmitter are too close they do not bind. They have to be a minimum of about 60-70cm apart. Don't ask me why because it is counter intuitive to me but might be worth a try?

thanks for the suggestion guys, just tried it and the same result I'm afraid, tried various distances apart from up close to other side of the room and still binding fails
