Just trying to set up my b44.1 with SPeedpassion reventon s ESC and it has all these race profiles. How do I know which to use? It came as a combo with SP v3 motor 9.5 but I now have no idea whether I need "drift, rock crawler, modify0, modify1, blinking"etc. what do they all mean?

I simply want it to run forward and backwards, not too aggressively so I can get used to driving once more!

Any help gladly received. :)

You would want one of the modified settings,
You will also need to set it up for forward/brake then reverse with it plugged in to computer,
Turn timing (setting 2 I think to 0degrees) and drrs (setting 3 to level 1)
This will make it much more dosile and easier to drive to get the hang of it,

Thank you - I'm sure I'll get hang in the end, but it is still seeming very complicated at moment!!

I use mod1 on my pro. It's in a 410 with a 8.5.
Start with low punch (DDRS on prog box) and no timing and it should be fairly docile. You can always up the settings when you're not crashing anymore

Well I took the advice and went for mod 1. I installed the speed passion software on my PC and updated the firmware on prog card. I then connected ESC to card to set up on PC - very straight forward even if I wasn't sure what some settings meant.
I tested it afterwards and now have a reverse function as well as forward.

So I now have to work out all connections on charger for lipos and balancing. Have to say the instructions are useless and don't even mention the balance board - whatever that does!! Hopefully get there soon

Wel, I've had a few runs now and seem to be handling the car ok on the windy stuff (sorry to the other 4wd competitors at batley who may disagree!!) but I noticed that on the straight there are other cars going twice the speed of me. Is that down to their gearing and motor turn, or is there something I can change to give greater top speed on straights without changing other parameters or do I just need to start upping the profile settings in general? I'd have thought a 9.5 turn should be pretty quick or do I need lower? I have a spare Novak 6.5 turn but not sure if ESC would take it?
