Hi Guys,

The new LAZER ZX SP LE is specific to UK Market, it won't be worlwide (**as part if European Shops sell it worldwide) at all... Exclusive Kyosho UK-France product line....

Also, the new shell that everyone can see atm, are not planed yet and are not Kyosho branded....

John

i've seen the pictures on the website, but not entirely clear what is different. Can you throw a bit more light on it John?

I've just had a look at the picture too.

All I can see is the rear wishbones might have some more mounting holes to make the shocks more upright.

Rear hubs looks the same?

John will probably correct me here but I believe that the suspension is now narrower at the rear, hence the different universal shafts. The rear wishbones and hubs are different to suit.

Also included are the "triple cap" bottom seals like the TF-5 tourer. These seals kick ass compared to the standard "twin cap" seals.

Whether the front arms and shock shafts are different or are simply direct replacements, I don't know.

Great to see a manufacturer taking interest in the UK racing :)

I think they may be trying to repair the hole now the ZX5 bubble has burst.

All that they need now and for next year is some good drivers to show what the products can do! Especially with the 2wd coming soon.

Hi Guys,

I will try to answer the best but i will update all the time the thread because Between Japaneese and English there is a big gap :D.....Anyway...

1 - What's about LAW34...?
A - LAW34 is a complet new Rear Suspension set. Every each part is new and has a new item code.

2 - What's different..?
A - The update kit offer a longer wheelbase, a longer shock travel and a better handling.

3 - What do i get...?
A - Worth? Yes it is.... The new suspension arms *3Holes (For those who had the luck to get them under LA220C, now they are totally new and reinforced), The new damper shaft (**mm...will follow), new Universal Swing shaft (3-6mm different), new Rear Hub *3 mounting Hole (Like TF009-0) and surely the best update are the Damper parts with the "Triple Cap" (TF5 edition)....no more leak at all...

4 - What's the Kyosho LAZER ZX5 SP?
A - It's a UK Kit spec atm. A Lazer ZX5 + LAW34

5 - What's about a Kyosho LAZER ZX5 SP PRO
A - It will be another UK - Euro Spec Carbon composite Kit with all Optional parts + More... Unfortunately it's a paper project atm and only hope it will come out soon.

6 -Special Comment
**The Lazer ZX5 came out with some weak points but it did not stop us from taking many A Finals and wins worldwide, the French National title and Cup. Our RD and Team drivers are working very hard to give you the best from our successful experience. **Be sure I'd like to win in UK too..Maybe next year...

7 - Kyosho UK and the UK racing scene?
A - We are aware of the need and think seriously about it. But as many know, KYOSHO UK is only 1 year old under FDL Distribution who has a 14 years experience with Kyosho Coorporation. Just give us time and you will see RED evrywhere... (2006 FDL Distribution Racing team, it's 4 National Titles out of 6 in France, 2nd Rallycross BRCA, TC 200mm Ireland National Champion, TC 200mm Kyosho World Champion 2006 and more than 20 TQ and A Finals....)

Hope i clarify a few things and help out Lazer's user but i will continue to update this thread soon as i got a new info.

**World Championship is in Japan in September 07, the winner will be the brand that will make the biggest effort and will have the fingers (meaning the driver) of the day... And not the one who will spend more $$$$ and have the biggest team.... **Need all UK Top drivers and all will be done... :-)

Thanks mate, that's what I was thinking to do. I am probably going to pick one up in the next day or two! I was going to wait 'til the B4 was fully upgraded but I know I wont be able to do that so I might as well just get it over with and buy one now!!:D I will put it together at a relaxed pace though and race it late summer or winter indoor series. It's just too good a bargain to resist.
