I was in the same position as you and i went for the BJ4, basically because it is a proven drive train and they are quite popular, also it is the european champ and world champ winning car so it cant be that bad:D

i went for a ZX5 and must admit it was a great choice. my results improved instantly, making regional A finals and qualifying 4th at the F3's this year.
the car is cheap compared to others. you do need to spend a small amount on key areas to make it 100% reliable or to to improve maintenance, but on the whole it is a great car. Second hand they are currently dirt cheap. You should be able to pick up a fully modified car with carbon shock towers and top deck etc for less than £150.

any of the main chassis are good cars in the right hands. it just depends on how you like your car to handle. best thing as always is go o your local club and see if you can have a few laps on different peoples cars to see which one suits you.

Well i went and got a BJ4 worlds of Ebay for £101 and i have to say you can throw it into corners like no other so i would definatly go for a Bj4 (worlds if you can afford it):D

XX4. So easy to drive, yet still very quick. Just look at the national results from last year.

I was in this position a couple of months ago needing a 4WD car to make the trip to Tiverton for the F3's worthwhile, so we bought a secondhand XX4 worlds on eBay. Having never driven anything else 4WD I can't comment on how good they are, but I have never found any car as easy to drive as the XX4. However they are stupid money at the moment because alot of people seen to agree that they're a great car which keeps prices quite high...

I don’t no about the BJ4 but all the 4wd's I’ve run, the XX4 is I think the best, :thumleft: you can throw it into the corners at a fast pace and it is so stable, great for outdoors, rides the bumps really well and its allot cheaper than the BJ4 Worlds, for indoors I am trying the XXX4 because they are good for flat tracks and i thought id give it a go.

X10, X10, X10, X10,

Or... just one BX!

You'd need at least four X10's to complete a five min race huh :p :D

ps. only joking!

But - northy has one X10, and you have two BX's !

:D

I think I currently have X10, ZX5, BJ4we, XX4 (needs some work) for my 4wd cars. I love them all, well, apart from the XX4 - but cos its ugly and in bits.
