Put this together for a bit of fun - and to learn to fly a bit more in the garden :)

This little Quad is ACE - makes the WL toys ones look silly :)
Fly's like a champ and is very quick and agile - already getting better at flying nose in (when everything is revered) which is why I wanted something decent and small for the garden.

Hi Neal.
It's basically the Turnigy Micro Quad (from the UK warehouse) with the bits listed in the item listing associated parts.
Turnigy 2900KV motors
5x3 props
I used 10amp esc's as I had 4 spare - but you can use 6 amp ones
All available from the UK warehouse
Also a KK2 board I had spare.
In the item listing there are both 3S and 2S batteries. I went with 3S but it's too much and far, far too powerful so I have ordered some 2S 800mah packs instead.
That's basically it. Flies just like any other KK2 quad - it's super agile and great fun to fly.

Hi Paul.
Not sure on exact cost as I had bits already (radio / reviver / esc's etc)
I would guess that for just under £100 you can get everything except the radio.
Frame was £8
Motors x 4 was £24 for all 4
KK2 is around £20
ESC's were around £20 for all 4
Props are £2
Lipo's are around £3.50 each (800mah 2S) and I get around 6 mins flying time per lipo.
Lipo alarm £3 ish
Then you need a radio / receiver.
It's great for learning to fly / getting a bit more stick time in our small garden, that's the idea, then hopefully I don't crash the bigger stuff so much....
