The EMMA organisation announced in radioracecar magazine that there would be a class for electric 1/8th off-road at the indoor meeting at newark, but there isn't an option for it now on the entry form, has the class been scrapped ?
(it also says ic/elec on the driver list ?)

hey James,
I think you were the only one who expressed in interest in running an electric - so the electric class was scrapped about 3-5 days ago.
You still got a nitro Hong Nah havent you? :D

Ben, any chance of a entry list, how many places are left?
And hows the practice going to work on the Friday? Open or in heat order?
Cheers :)

I've just spotted a problem.
Newark Radio Controlled Car Club have their normal Friday night race meeting on the 28th.
How's it going to work with crystal clashes etc, seeing as they will be running around 100m away in one of the other halls?
Looking at the timetable I think heats 11 onwards for the thrid round of practice would be the ones that overlap as we have cars on track from 6pm-9.30ish.

Yup, I know a few national TC drivers still using 27mhz so if there's rally guys and girls using 27/40mhz too then its more of a 'just making it aware' thing.
