Just bought a CAT and two sets of TrackPower 20C 3200mA lipo's, I was running the 4.5 in my 2wd on Nim's the Nims got very hot. Now I'm concerned in a 4wd that my TrackPower's won't be able to deliver enough Amps and I'll cook the cells - can anyone advise me whether this set up is OK or not?
thanks

I can't advise you on the Trakpower cells, I can advise you though that a 4.5 will likely be far too overpowered in a buggy. How on earth did you manage it in 2wd?

Had it in my X6, sure it was extremely fast, but never felt out of control or too wild for my thumb to cope with. Ask Andy Griffiths he saw it run himself. Just need to know whether the Lipo's will cope with it?

It was ballistic, but at no point did it look undriveable round ledbury:o:thumbsup:.
If i were you tho Gordy, i'd be very tempted to put a 5.5 or a 5.5l into the cat as it will be quicker over the whole 5 mins rather that just outright power. Almost all use 5.5 or 6.5 in the 4wd's
Good luck with what you choose:thumbsup:

Hi
The cells will be fine with it, i have ran 3.5, 4.5, 5.5 6.5 and 10.5 with varied results and even in 10th touring 3.5 the cells didnt get horrendously hot, hot to hold but not melting the case story.
I did however manage to use a nakered corrally and melted the tube out of the side of the trakpower case:blush: so advise that all connectors are tight!
