I NEED to race on the 26th - Crompy said the next pendle meeting was then but apparently it's not so anyone know where I can go to race on the 26th? I prefer dirt and I prefer jumps but anywhere is good as long as there's a bit of competition and it's definitely ON!

hi jimmy, it may be a bit of a drive for you, but try snrc, http://www.stoke-nitro.co.uk/s.n.r.c/index.html
its not dirt, but the best new astro track around, go onto their forum and see the track with its new extension:thumbsup:
small table tops, doubles, triples, larger table top, raised table top corner, moguls, they have it all. superb drainage and 10mins drive off the m6.

Bondy is a superstar of 10th electric now, didn't he tell you? It would be great to beat him on his home track but sadly I don't think he's up for it. :woot:
Is deerdale just a turn up and book-in type affair? I am not sure which way to go yet - worksop or deerdale & finish review.

Im off to deerdale this sunday. I have always been a fan of deerdale and with the new jumps and rhythm section they put in last month its even better, its probably the best astro track in the country at the minute. I know you said you prefer dirt tracks jimmy but with our unpredictable weather astro is the choice for a good days racing with no worry of it bein called off or gettin up to the eyes in mud!

yeah I wanted dirt for some nice photos but also because I know my tyres will at least work - I'm not really sure how they'll do on wet astro and I don't really have 50 quid spare to throw at some new ones at the moment. :woot:

What tyres do you have ?
Also what truck or offset are the wheels, i could lend you some if yours arent that suitable.

I've got some JConcepts goose bumps - dirt tyres basically. They were fine if I'm honest at pendle last week - not amazing in the mud or anything but I was no slower than anyone else.
They are zero off set on a Tamiya truggy if I can make it along on sunday and start skating about like a maniac in the rain then for sure any help would be appreciated!

Looks like I'm back to 26th Oct. Is stoke the only place on? I know it's the AGM that day.
My spares didn't arrive in time to race at deerdale this sunday gone so I had to miss it. I had a look at the track on saturday and it looked alright tho. :woot:

I'd prefer whichever one has some help on standby for Jimmy :) Because I'm not much of a pitbitch when it comes to nitro madness. Also somewhere that we can easily get to York afterwards.

i think stokes the good bet, even if it pisses it down it drains well and doesnt get waterlogged as its on a slope and the pitting area is good ground..and the butty van tips it for me :)
